# Create a Meta app

> Create the Meta app used by Kapso for WhatsApp setup

Create a Meta app when you want Kapso to use your own Meta app credentials.

This app can be used for two different flows:

## Create the app

1. Open [Meta for Developers](https://developers.facebook.com/apps/).
2. Create a new app.
3. Choose the **Connect with Customers through WhatsApp** use case.
4. Select the Business Portfolio that owns the number, or the portfolio where you will add the number.
5. Finish the app setup.
6. Open **App settings > Basic**.
7. Copy the **App ID**.
8. Reveal and copy the **App Secret**.

## Add it in Kapso

1. In Kapso, open your project.
2. Go to **Connected numbers > Meta apps**.
3. Click **Add Meta app**.
4. Paste the **App ID** from **App settings > Basic** in Meta.
5. Paste the **App Secret**.
6. Save
