Kapso can send your business documents to Meta for you. Meta reviews them against your business portfolio and marks the business as verified. This is Meta’s partner-led business verification.

Why verify

  • Higher messaging limits. Unverified businesses stay on their starting limit. Verified businesses can grow it as they send quality messages.
  • Fewer restrictions. Meta trusts verified businesses more and is less likely to restrict them.
  • Authentication templates. Meta only lets verified businesses with a 2K messaging limit or higher send them.
You can keep messaging without verification. Your number keeps its current limits. Verification belongs to the business portfolio, not the number. Once it’s verified, every number in that portfolio benefits, on every WhatsApp account and Kapso project.

Who can use it

Business verification is rolling out gradually. If you don’t see it on your numbers, contact support.
  • The number was connected through Kapso’s signup, so it runs on Kapso’s Meta app.
  • The number is a production number (not the sandbox).
  • You can edit the number’s settings. Other members can see the status but can’t submit.
Kapso can’t submit for numbers connected through your own Meta app. Verify those businesses directly with Meta in Business Manager → Security Center. If Meta says Kapso can’t submit for a business, Kapso shows Verify in Meta.

Verify your business

  1. Go to Phone numbers and open a number.
  2. On Overview, click Verify on the Verify your business with Meta card, or click the Meta business verification row under Setup.
  3. Add documents that show your legal name and your address, exactly as they appear in your Meta business portfolio.
  4. Optional: click Check documents to have Kapso Agent read them first.
  5. Click Continue to review, confirm you’re authorized to act for the business, and click Submit to Meta.
Most reviews take a few minutes. Some take several hours. Kapso emails you when the documents are sent and when Meta decides. Click Save for later to keep a draft. The card changes to Finish your Meta business verification.

Documents

Meta takes 1 to 3 files. Each one must be a PDF, JPG, or PNG of 5 MB or less. One file can cover both. A bank statement often shows the legal name and the address. Mark it with This file also shows the address. Meta doesn’t take a name, address, or business type from you. It compares the files with what’s already in your business portfolio. If the portfolio is wrong, fix it in Meta first. Meta only verifies registered businesses. If you don’t have one, you can still message without verification.

Kapso Agent check

Before you spend an attempt, Kapso Agent can read your files. It checks that each file is legible and that the legal name and address are visible, then compares the legal name with the name in your portfolio. You see each step live, and then what it found and on which page.
  • It’s optional and advisory. You can submit even if it flags something.
  • It’s billed to your Kapso credits, like other AI features. With no credits, you can still submit.
  • If you replace a file, run the check again.

Attempts

Kapso can submit for a business 3 times. Every submission Meta receives counts, including ones it rejects or discards. After 3, the next submission has to go directly through Meta, with the same documents. Kapso shows Verify directly with Meta and links to Security Center. A submission that fails before Meta accepts it, such as a file Meta refuses, doesn’t use an attempt. Kapso never retries a submission on its own.

Statuses

The status shows in the number’s Setup section. Problems you can fix also show under Issues.

Changes requested

Meta returns a reason with the rejection. Kapso shows it and points to the file to replace: The reason applies to the whole submission. Replace the flagged file and keep the others. Each resubmission uses an attempt.

Your documents

Kapso keeps the files only to send them to Meta. It deletes them 30 days after Meta decides. Drafts with no changes for 30 days also lose their files.

FAQ

How long does Meta take?

Usually a few minutes. If nothing changes after 24 hours, contact support and we’ll follow up with Meta.

Can I verify one portfolio from two projects?

Yes, but only one submission can be in progress at a time. The status, attempts, and result are shared across projects.

I already verified in Meta. Will Kapso ask me again?

No. When you open a number, Kapso reads the business’s status from Meta if it hasn’t in the last 6 hours, and shows Verified.
