How is Meta billed?

You can pay Meta message fees with Kapso credits or use the payment method configured in your Meta account. The selected mode applies to the entire WhatsApp Business Account. See Meta message billing for the differences.

Do Kapso credits cover Meta costs?

Yes, when the WABA uses Kapso credits for Meta message billing. Kapso deducts Meta’s published USD price from your project credits with no added fee. When the WABA pays Meta directly, Meta charges its configured payment method instead. Kapso plan message allowances and Meta message fees remain separate in both modes.

What’s included in Kapso plans?

All plans include unlimited API calls, AI agents, workflows, serverless function calls, and a Kapso sandbox number. Plans differ in message volume, connected numbers, media storage, and integration calls. Enterprise plans have custom limits and pricing.

What counts toward my message limit?

Kapso counts all messages (inbound and outbound) toward your plan limit:
  • Text messages you send
  • Media messages (image, video, audio, document)
  • Template messages
  • Interactive messages (buttons, lists)
  • Messages you receive from customers
  • Reactions
Not counted:
  • Read receipts

Can I add a second number on the Free plan?

No. The Free plan includes 1 WhatsApp number. Upgrade to Pro for up to 3 numbers.

Sandbox vs pre-verified numbers

Sandbox number — Free, shared with other users (but isolated). Use it for testing and development. Pre-verified US number — A dedicated production number. Requires a small deposit that goes directly to your project credits. Available on all plans.
